Family Lineage with Heraldic Crest

This 2-year long project involved a refresh of a family heirloom genealogy chart. The family crest was redrawn to bring a more refined look to the artwork and three new generations were added to the lineage. It was executed on authentic calfskin parchment, and two identical originals were created, as well as a number of professional reproductions for the client to gift to various family members. The lettering was done in a custom pointed pen script, created by Megan just for this project and inspired by historical scripts.
